Alien8Studio is a London-born creative studio and fictional universe founded by Maria Kanella. What began as a DIY brand during lockdown, printing t-shirts and selling stickers from her bedroom, has since evolved into a visual world spanning animation, illustration, and storytelling.

While rooted in design, Alien8 hosts pop-ups and workshops that champion up-and-coming musicians and artists, bridging art and music in London.

Maria is currently developing Alien8's debut short film, which tells the origin story of the studio’s first two characters, Freddie and Mov, as they navigate a planet mysteriously stuck in the 1980s.
